Ich verlasse meinen Old-School Campingplatz, nicht ohne ein paar Sachen zu waschen. Bei der Hitze trocknet ja zum Glück alles schnell. Mein Ziel, steht auf dem Schild: Cormet d’Arèches, der nächste Gravelpass. Dorthin sin es noch 8 km und 800 Höhenmeter. Das sind also knackige 10 Prozent Steigung….
….und das ist der Weg, der mich zu meinem Ziel führen soll. Einigermaßen fahrbar. Ich muss nur wenig schieben….Und die Franzosen feuern mich ständig an: Chapeau, Bon Courage, Bravo, Vous êtes courageux….etc. Geht runter wie Öl. Viele sprechen mich an, und ich muss viel erzählen…Ich glaube in Deutschland würde ich eher Unverständnis ernten: „Was ist denn das fürn durchgeknallter alter Zausel auf diesem überladenen Rad?“….🙂

….bin ich so gegen Mittag oben angekommen. Die Abfahrt ist dann wieder überwiegend Teer. Es geht runter ins IsèreTal nach La Plagne. Macht 18 km traumhafte Abfahrt. Allerdings: Je tiefer ich komme, desto heißer wird die Luft. Fühlt sich bald an wie ein Föhn, der einem ins Gesicht bläst….Unten ist es fast unerträglich heiß, 37 Grad.
….unterwegs noch dieses unglaublich perfekte Blau! Enzian. (als Eintrach-Fan fehlt da natürlich noch ein Tupferchen Gelb….☺️)
Unten im IsèreTal kommt dann ein 2km langer Fahrradtunnel. Da drin ist es so herrlich kühl, dass ich am Ende fast nochmal zurückgefahren wäre….endlich etwas Abkühlung.
Der RadTunnel ist ganz neu. Allerdings: Gleich danach geht der Radweg Richtung Moutiers allerdings ungelogen über eine 4spurige Schnellstraße, quasi am Randstreifen ohne bauliche Trennung. Die Autos donnern mit 100 Sachen an einem vorbei. Zum Glück ist Sonntag und kaum LKW-Verkehr….Vermutlich ist der Radweg durch das IsèreTal gerade erst im Entstehen.
Moutiers selbst ist ganz hübsch, aber am Sonntag ist hier absolut tote Hose. Ich mache mich gleich an den nächsten Anstieg zum Col de Perronnet.
Und an der Abzweigung dorthin steht dieses Schild. Ich bin sicher, das ist genau MEINE Straße: Schmal und einsam. Eine echte Wohltat nach dem hektischen IsèreTal.
Direkt an der Straße finde ich aber keine ebene Stelle zum Zelten. Es gibt nur eine Abzweigung zu einem verlassenen Dorf, ca. 1km von der Straße entfernt. Ein echter Lost Place und etwas unheimlich ….
Eine ebene Wiese oder so gibt es hier allerdings auch nicht. Also baue ich das Zelt am Ende der alten Dorfstraße auf….
Statt mit Heringen fixieren ich das Zelt mit alten Steinen. Die gibt’s hier genug. Allerdings: Der Teer hat sich tagsüber dermaßen aufgeheizt, dass ich wegen dieser „Fußbodenheizung“ nachts kaum ein Auge zudrücken kann.
Immerhin steht hier noch ein kleines Bänkchen, über das sich meine alten Gelenke extrem freuen. Einfach so auf den Boden hocken ist schon schwer🙂
Es gibt CousCous mit geschmorter Paprika. Und etwas Zwiebel und der nicht ganz so leckeren Wurst aus dem unteren Schweizer Regal….
Wenn ich wild zelte, lasse ich meine Esssachen möglichst nie im Zelt. So locke ich keine Wildschweine, Mäuse oder anderes Getier an. Die Taschen hänge ich dann z. B in einen Baum….aber hier gibt es die bisher beste aller Möglichkeiten: Ich stelle meine Fressalien unter den Schutz von Sankt Anna🙂!
